Dead Sea Records opens real life shop in St Davids, Pembrokeshire
Following our initial online only start, St Davids has welcomed us into its vibrant music scene with the grand opening of our Dead Sea Records real life shop. A cozy vinyl haven positioned right in the heart of the city.
Despite its modest size (we believe it’s the second smallest record shop in Wales), the shop has a carefully curated collection of vinyl records spanning a wide range of genres, from timeless classics to contemporary gems.
With a focus on quality over quantity, we pride ourself on the ability to rotate stock regularly, ensuring that you always have something new and exciting to discover with each visit.
We believe that being small has its advantages. Our compact space allows us to maintain a diverse selection of vinyl records while also providing a cozy and intimate atmosphere for our customers to explore and enjoy.
We're more than just a record shop; we're a community hub for music lovers to come together, share their passion, and discover new favourites. We're excited to become a part of the vibrant cultural landscape of St Davids and to contribute to the city's musical heritage.
We opened our doors to the public just in time for Record Store Day, the national celebration of independent record shops. We will be marking the day with live music in-store from Honey Fungus. The popular Welsh four-piece will be playing an acoustic set of original music in-store from 2pm.
We're thrilled to be a part of Record Store Day for the first time and to celebrate the enduring legacy of independent record stores. It's a day to come together as a community and celebrate our love for music.
Keeping music real in a real life shop.
